Complete and total pants.

Except McAdams, I'll be filing her in that little tweed number away in a very special region, or perhaps I should say bank, of my memory, heh heh heh.

Other than that, complete and total pants.

I watched the movie last night and I actually liked it. It's not the worst movie I've paid to see, not by a long stretch. I thought how Holmes deconstructed the villains charlatan act was quite....interesting.
Being a genocidal maniac is not one of my turn ons.

Is it weird to hear the Safety Dance in my head watching Game of Thrones?

I recommend you checking out a British show called Jonathan Creek, its solutions always contain that sort of analysis.  :)

Saw it yesterday - and really enjoyed it.

It was too long for me - by about half an hour.  I mean, I can watch a freaking 4 hour Kurosawa movie no problem, but I was ready to wrap it up towards the end.

It would've been cool to see Irene as more of a mysterious presence - maybe cut her screen time down by half.  But that's me trying to re-direct the movie.  That - and she wore too much eye make up, haha.

It was good - especially the fight scenes in Ritchie's fast/slow motion style.

By all means give it a go; they don't really produce good directors at Stanbridge Earls ;)

I will have to search out your recommendation post haste!! But first I need to get caught up on watching Steven Seagal: Lawman. ;D

Priorities....find Jonathan Creek and finish Lawman later.

Cleaners are coming tomorrow and to stay out of their hair, think I will catch this tomorrow for the 11am maintee and the local movie studio grill.

Yep the relationship between Holmes and Watson contained the best chemistry and highest levels of sexual tension.

Ann was saying that a nice long make-out scene would have vastly improved the film for her. ;)

Yeah but RDJ and Law swapping spit?  Can think of better combinations, frankly.

Tripe

Well really Ann didn't mind who the additional bloke was with RDJ really, Law just happened to be the one in this film. :)

Imrahil, where can I find the video your avatar comes from? The Rifftrax Christmas Card?
