It's a bit late, but here's some things people might find of interest, though I expect many already are aware of these.

Here's the first time the Avengers 'assembled' to fight Loki.  He was the baddie that brought them together in the first issue of the Avengers, of which this is the cover.

A few pages back, someone asked who the Skrulls were.  I dug around in my 'e-comics' and here is the first appearance of the Skrulls in an Avengers comic.  Issue #93, page 23.  (The only way you may see that it is an Avengers issue instead of a Captain Marvel issue is the tiny little insert picture and voice balloon in the lower right.)

Okay I have to ask, what good is Ant Man in a fight?

He can shrink down and go places other characters never could. He can expand and become huge, too I think.

So he goes up the villain's butt and then make himself big causing the villain to explode?!

Okay just wanted to be clear about that.

Oh and I forgot how retarded the early Iron Man suits looked.

He implores you to bite his shiny metal ass!

(I can't believe Rifftrax didn't use that at all in the Iron Man riff!)

He can fly up to an opponent and, using his little weapon, go "pew - pew" and distract them long enough for Thor, Iron Man or the Hulk to beat his ass to a pulp.

DG was right in an earlier post: he did 'grow up' to be Giant Man/Goliath after while.  But his real 'power' is that he's a nearly-Reed Richards level all-discipline science genius.

[I do believe this may be the geekiest post I've ever written.]
To dispel some of the misconceptions about head injuries you have developed from watching movies and TV, I wrote this: ...Some Information on Head Injury Effects

It's not a laser. It's a little light bulb that blinks.

Yep loathed as I am to say a good word about possibly the crappiest spouse of an awesome character in comics, Hank's pretty significant as an inventor in the marvel universe.

Pak-Man

He's also got the power to be bigger and stronger than his wife... unfortunately....

Box Office Milestone: 'The Avengers' Becomes No. 3 Pic of All Time With $1.331 Billion

QuoteA month in, Joss Whedon's The Avengers continues to make box office history.

On Friday, the Disney and Marvel Studios' tentpole surpassed Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 to become the third-biggest tile of all time at the worldwide box office with a cume of $1.331 billion.

The final Harry Potter film, released in July 2011, earned $1.328 billion.

Avengers will rest at No. 3. Avatar remains the No. 1 title of all time with a worldwide gross of $2.8 billion, while Titanic is safe at No. 2 ($1.8 billion). Both those films are from James Cameron.

Avengers also shattered another record domestically on Friday, surpassing The Dark Knight to become the third top grossing film of all time with a cume of $538.1 million. Dark Knight earned $533 million domestically.

Internationally, Avengers has now earned $793.2 million, the fifth-best showing of all time.

It was only a matter of time for it to take that third spot; after #4, there's not a whole lot separating the top movies.

Now the real work begins. It looks as if it has to do a whole lot more overseas if it's gonna make it to the top. It's also gonna lose the spotlight with Prometheus and TDKR coming out. We'll see.
VIVA IL ESORDIO DEL DIABETE ADULTO DUCE!!!

Space version 2.0

Does the total for Titanic include all three times it has been released in theaters? It was released in theaters three times, right?

Starman!

I thought it was just 2 but I could be wrong. Maybe the second time was after it came out on video?

Starman!

Yeah so there's been at least 2 theatrical releases (the original release and the 3D version.)
