Well, this was expected. Hell, the movies make money in spite of how stupid Revenge of the Fallen was. So I say let 'em make as many of these giant robot flicks as they want.

I just wonder how well sales for these Bay Transformers movies will be in comparison to the original 80's cartoon. The 20th Anniversary restoration and re-release of the original movie, which flopped big time in the theaters in the 80's, sold better than had been projected. How much shelf life after initial DVD release will Bay's movies have?
