So I've seen it now and I had an absolute blast with it. But I though I would put my few issues with it here:

2. Because they're monsters and it makes his attitude/insanity make sense in the context of the movie
3. Comedy

What do I want in a Deadpool sequel?
NICHOLAS CAGE as SNOWFLAME!

That would be cool. Although I think it would be funnier if Rob Liefeld cameoed.

Well....

I've heard about that afterwards.
I originally thought the first guy you see in the freezeframe opening credits shot was him, because he had a cup labeled Rob L.

Hot damn this movie rocked! Really delivered the goods, reminded me of the fun of the 90s Joe Kelly Deadpool comics.

Hope we see more comic movies that get to do their own thing like this, more off-the-beaten-path kind of material. Not just world domination super team up against mega-villain stuff kind of movies.

Given that this movie looks like it's going to almost double it budget in sales it's first weekend alone, I'd say this bodes well for the studios taking more chances on mid-budget R rated movies like this.

And I agree, not all superhero movies have to be about saving the world.

Well that was absolutely the best possible Deadpool movie that could have been created. This movie went in with so many red flags. R-Rated Comic Movie Opening in February after 15 years in development hell. This should have been a disaster, but it SO wasn't!

Did not expect to be as wrapped up in the love story as I was. It was legitimately sweet (when it needed to be). It raised the stakes just as much as it needed to, and it helped prevent that comedy fatigue that makes even great comedies tiresome after about an hour and 15 minutes. Colossus was a brilliant foil for Deadpool. I don't think I've ever seen them paired up in the comics, but it seems like such a natural choice in execution.

Deadpool

I enjoyed it.  Probably the best Deadpool that I could have hoped for.  That said, Nash's spoiler-free review brings up good points about the film feeling like it's missing stuff. https://t.co/Cvs3MVRuRx

Other than he needed more pouches....

Saw it for the second time today. Still awesome.

I hope the tag at the end of the credits is Deadpool reenacting the end tag to Ferris Beuller.

By the way, has anyone patted you on the back for this? :^)

Haha!  Nice call Darth!

Yeah, I was so happy they did what I hope they would. The only thing that would have made it better is if Mathew Broderick had walked in and yelled at Deadpool to get out of his house.

Darth Geek

I just realized that this movie had Colossus, always in his metal form, and NO ORIGIN.

So can we just have a Spider-man movie where he is in the suit the whole time?

Peter Parker is an important part of Spider-Man for me
