Peter Parker is an important part of Spider-Man for me
He is an important part of the character, but we've just had SOOOO much of him in the last 5 movies.

Pak-Man

I suspect he'll be suited up for all of Civil War.  Unless they decide to recreate a pretty lengthy story arc. ..

I'd be shocked if there's not a "you're a kid?!" moment

My biggest laugh in the movie...

That said, zero real complaints. The only thing that came close to annoying me was how much I felt like I had already seen through the trailers, but even then I was glad to see the full version of some of the jokes. Lets face it, the "brown pants" joke wasn't going to pack the same punch after it was already in the test footage a couple years ago, but it was still good.

I heard there is going to be an unrated version, so that has me excited now. Considering going to see it again soon.

I think that's been debunked, from what I saw on Twitter.

With Deadpool making so much money off of just a 58 million dollar budget, I am hoping that means we get more lower and mid budget movies from Hollywood. Audiences have shown that you don't have to throw 200 million at an action movie to get our interest.

Darth Geek

#1 again this weekend! Yes! 235 million domestic and about that foreign, so almost half a billion worldwide. Wow. Hell, it's the highest grossing X-Men movie!

Plus there's a chance of an R-rated Wolverine movie

Yeah, I saw that announcement right after Deadpool's opening weekend. It's cool and all, and is appropriate for the character, like it was for Deadpool. But it's still not a guarantee of quality. The problems in the previous Wolverine movies would not have been helped with a higher rating.

Pak-Man

A Wolverine movie is an uphill battle for me because I've never enjoyed the character. The "grouchy team member that doesn't play well on a team" archetype doesn't grip me. That said, I found The Wolverine to be pretty watchable.

Maybe it's a matter of pairing him with a good X-Sidekick to keep things light. Pull in someone like Jubilee or Kitty. Heck, stick him with Deadpool again, now that they know what to do with him.

I liked The Wolverine until the third act, especially that stupid robotic Silver Samurai thing.

Kete

I loved it, especially the adamantium samurai.
