I think they are reading too much into it. The Jackal clones damn near anything he sees, he's OCD like that. And I really hope they aren't going in that direction because the last thing these movies need is to become more complicated. Or to crib ideas from The Clone Saga, a series that causes Spiderman fans to groan to this day.

I liked the trailer although I think killing Captain Stacey was a mistake because (although understandable before they knew it was going to be a 5 film series) because having the Green Goblin as the villain of part 3 and kill Gwen at the end leading to Spidey being a pariah in 4 (with the city hiring Kraven or Kraven as a Man vs. Wild-esq reality star or something) and most of 5 only to triumph at the end would be a great arc over the series.

I didn't go looking for it, I just happened to come across it on SuperheroHype.com

I wish I could be more optimistic about this. I liked about half of the things in the previous one. But everything I'm seeing for this one I will wait for reviews. If they are as caustic as I think they will be, I will wait for DVD or maybe Rifftrax.

While I don't think this looks very good, it is an improvement over the Power Ragers -esque GG from the first movie. And ironically this type of makeup would have looked a lot better on William Dafoe.
But the comparison to Evil Ed from Fright Night is hilarious, and spot on.
