Hold up! There's finally a Roger Rabbit Blu-ray!? How'd that sneak up on me!?

Darth Geek

I think they were weasels.

Oh, and Quentin Taratino's collection on Blu-Ray.  It's got them all.  Except Django of course, still waiting for that one.

I've bought a lot of stuff lately, but most recently, I bought Mulholland Dr. and Singles on DVD and The Blob (Criterion Collection), The Third Man (StudioCanal Collection), Night of the Creeps, and Jersey Girl on Blu-Ray. And I found David Lynch's Industrial Symphony No. 1 on Laserdisc!

I haven't visted this thread in a while, but I wont go over everything -- the last few purchases include...

Includes a BD exclusive extra: A 52 minute exploration on the alternate ending.

Picture looks great, but no extras.

And I've got Tristana in the mail and on the way

Thanks to a sale at a video store I picked up a whole mess of blu-rays for cheap, but the what's really worth sharing are these two gems I also picked up

There's a Showgirls 2?!?!?

Saw Return to Nim's Island in Walmart.  Never seen Nim's Island but John Waters is in it.  Almost bought it but thought I'd look it up first.  It's not my favorite perverted director after all, but some respected Australian actor.  Booooo!  He should change his name.  I almost bought Return to Nim's Island.

MartyS (Gromit)

Nim's Ilsand is OK for a kids movie, Jodi Foster playing the shut in that writes adventure novels is pretty good, and is funny as she tries to make her way to the island to save Nim, it's a mild comedy though.  Just reading about the sequel, does not sound even half as good as the first one so probably a good call not getting it.

Found a collection of old sci-fi TV episodes with "Radar Men from the Moon" and "The Undersea Kingdom" and a bunch of other stuff I haven't seen.

No Rocky Jones though, would love to have all of them on one collection.  One day I will get them all.

Django, oh yeah!

Also picked up John Dies at the end.  Never heard of it, love the title.  And it has Paul Giamatti, who is awesome.

And Veep, which looks like a good show.

Hate where walmart does the pre purchase thing.  I usually get them somewhere else and when I see them I get excited that they're out then see the stupid pre purchase thing.  Happened again Tuesday when I saw True Blood.

That's a wonderfully crazy, funny movie. Definitely worth the purchase.
