Actually, I think the first ten minutes does the job better. You'll either it terrible and annoying, or hilarious and want more:

Not really movies but

I've been loving me some Jeff Dunham.  A little late to the party, know he's been around a long time.  Got the jokes on MST and Rifftrax.  But I always thought ventriloquists were lame.  Of course, I'd never actually seen one.

I now have all his DVD's except for the Christmas one.

Also bought a comedy DVD by Kevin Hart.  Never even heard of him, he's pretty funny.

Starman!

I have these ordered on Amazon (I snagged Thor when it was still $9.96).

And I bought this...

And I bought a couple of LaserDiscs the other day, Blue Velvet and the Fantasia CAV boxset. Unfortunately, side 2 of Fantasia suffers from some laser rot, but it's playable.

Space version 2.0

Basically breaks down to $11 per movie, not a bad deal.

Got this on pre-order right now. Saw it in a little one-screen theater a while back. Hilarious, though it probably requires some knowledge of Birbig's stand up.

$7.99 on Amazon? Sure, why not?

So it is! Best order that one myself, it's a purchase I've been putting off for waaaaaaaaaaaay too long.

Guess who found and bought the unaltered Star Wars Trilogy on Laserdisc today? ;D

I also bought Beauty and the Beast: the Work in Progress version (it uses a lot of the storyboards for scenes that weren't finished at the time. This version is not on DVD.) and the Criterion version of King Kong, which has the first ever audio commentary!

That is awesome! Are you going to try to convert them to DVDs?

Starman!

I probably won't but I might covert Beauty and the Beast since it has high laser rot probability, though it looks like my copy is mostly fine for now.

Region 0 UK Blu-ray, purchased because it was really cheap on the Amazon.UK site and because I was sick of seeing the crazy prices of the out-of-print US version.

Naturally after it arrived I learned that it was going to be re-issued in America in January, but since the price would've worked out to about the same anyway whether or not I'd waited, and it's still the same Blu-Ray, I'm not too bothered.

Gosh, I miss Doc Who's lists of the horribly bad films he'd picked recently. Speaking of that....

I don't remember how or why or when, but sometime in the last few weeks I picked up Green Lantern. Which I already owned. But now if my Blu-Ray ever konks out, I've got a spare DVD copy so I won't be without that cinematic masterpiece.

(I'm pretty sure it was $2, so it's not really worth the effort to return it.)

Got this mainly for the commentaries (which are amazing and extremely honest). It's not a great show by any means, but it has its moments here and there. Plus, it's Weird Al! He's fun just being himself. Looking forward to what Santa brings next Tuesday.  ;D

The commentaries are definitely the best thing about that disc. Always fun hearing what people have to say about a network after they're no longer desperate to stay on their good side.
