re-watched "Horrors of Spider Island" last night

Love how Tom just can't handle all the half naked naked chicks and passes out a couple of times.   The whole movie is good.  And the host segment with Brain Guy doing Flashdance is classic.  And Bill looks pretty good in those tights.

Also looked it up and saw where Bra Bra, or Babs, is famous for shagging Freddy Mercury.  I guess before he came out.  Evidently they were very close, staying friends.

Watched The Mole People from the newest set. The irritation at John Agar as a running gag was funny, but I didn't really think he was much of a know-it-all, just that he was the only person within a 20 mile radius that wasn't staggeringly stupid.

Should the first stage of grief be unbridled joy?

Watching Danger Death Ray right now. The riffing here is great, particularly on the peaceful death ray and the bad special effects.


Imagine all the aweful peace the bad guys would wage with that death ray.

The Steve Reeves movies are some of my fave riffs.  I love this episode.

But it really irks me that they get the placement of the Match Game players wrong.  Richard was always on the bottom middle and Nipsy was always at to right.

Revenge of the Creature

Just didn't get the jokes in the lab with the young assistant with the mice.  Looked it up on imdb and finally get it.  Didn't even recognize Clint Eastwood.

Good show all around.  Bill was a bit nasally but I bet he was super nervous.  Took a bit but he eventually made Crow his own.

For me, it just doesn't get any better than listening to Joe Don Baker get torn several new ass holes

Plus, Goosio getting slaughtered by Crow and Servo is one of my favorite host segments in the entire series.

Watched part of Giant Spider Invasion last night. A classic.  I liked the Kingdom of the Spiders riff, but this is still much better.

Just watched this one recently too. What makes this film a stand-out for me is the big valley guy (Peter Breck?).  His performance here wins the all-time 'over-acting' Oscar as far as I'm concerned.  Possibly my favorite MST movie villian.
