I Just Finished Watching...

Just saw Kitten with a Whip for the first time. The riffs were hilarious and the movie was surprisingly compelling. The acting was a little bit off, and the antagonists REALLY date the movie, but I found myself genuinely rooting for the bland proagonist to find a way out of the ever-growing mess. It was almost comedic the way all the wrong people showed up at all the wrong times, and I felt sorry for the guy.

Fun episode, overall.

Yeah, I felt sorry for him too. He is pretty dumb, and doesn't help his situation at all. But I absolutely LOATHED the kids in this. Still hesitating to watch this one again now that I have the DVD.

Anyway, had never seen it.  It aired on Sci-fi, I missed several episodes for this reason, my cable service did not have sci-fi.  Enjoyed it, especially the naughy trucker jokes.

Watching the Riding With Death episode now. Oh my God, this is the episode that has one of my favorite host segments! The first main one with the Mads on the war planet, Brain Guy as the nurse with my favorite line of his "My race are pacifists and does not believe in war. We only kill out of personal spite." And Mike's hilarious performance crazy muttering to himself as he puts the baking soda in the bomb.

Well, Mike kept making references like "Look at him hanging out his Eninrude! Oh, wait, that didn't quite work..."
Then he says something like "Oh, I did it again! Sorry."
I'm just not seeing what he was going for there.

Johnson is another popular brand of boat motors. Replace "Evinrude" with "Johnson" and you'll see what he is going for. The joke is that he's using the wrong brand name.
