I'd rather it not be, but it looks fun nonetheless.

Lots of fans seem to theorize that Cumberbatch will be playing Northern Irish playwright Gary Mitchell.  Will Kirk be able to overcome his Belfast Arts Drama Award?

Here's the Japanese version, which is almost identical but ends with a nod to the other Star Trek II.

One thing has occurred to me is that while I'm sure that this will be fun, there doesn't seem to be a lot of exploration anymore, is there.  I also am a little disheartened that there won't be any more diplomatic solutions to problems but less face it, that would probably be pretty anti-climactic for a big screen adventure (still, part of me wants to see if they could make it work).

Also, please don't end with the Captain going onto the enemy ship and beating up the bad guy.  That's been the ending for the last 4 Trek movies and it's kind of lazy.
