So, it looks like the new Star Trek movie has a title.  I think that's more than enough reason to start a thread on it.

So, any theories or wishes on what it would be about?  Think it'll be a reimagining of a previous adventure or some new stuff that's hopefully not time-travelling miners.  Cause I loved Star Trek, but the villains were time travelling miners.  Personally, I'd like them to do an epic film version of "The Changeling".  That way they get to tackle the space god formula without it being just a "space god" (Sorry Squire of Gothos, Charlie X, Who Mourns for Adonis and basically the 90% of the original series) and they could have him capable of all sorts of terrible new things.

And by the way, I will change the thread title if this title changes.  None of that Del Toro directing the Hobbit stuff.

Your apologies are not acceptable and I demand satisfaction, sir!

I would wear every item of clothing he has on, just mentioning that, lest any be in doubt.

I know its asking quite a lot.  Since they bothered to reboot the universe, why not do something comepletely original?

Sorry to tell you this, but Phyllis Diller passed away recently, so she won't be able to be in this one.

Yeah, but I think Joan Rivers could fill in for her just fine.

I'm guessing it'll feature Khan in some way.  Maybe not as the main bad guy, but setting him up for the third one.

I still want to see Harry Mudd.

I don't want to see Kahn, just because he has already been done. But if they take more time to set him up, it could be more interesting.

ManUnderMask

I'm going to have to wait for a trailer since the first one was so laughably terrible.
I survived the San Diego Comic Con 2010 Hall H stabbing.

Yeah, I think Kahn's great, but I'm just not that interested.  I'd rather the fact that the timeline was altered to make something like NOMAD or maybe a Mirror, Mirror movie (perhaps that's what the title is alluding too...).  But just so long as it isn't the Borg or more space miners I'll be happy.
