Hmm... Don't Be Afraid of the Dark (2011) was recently released on DVD.

Personally, a "haunted house" movie I would love to see them riff is the ludicrous 1999 remake of The Haunting with Catherine Zeta-Jones & Liam Neeson.

Unless he literally listed 2 upcoming riffs:

1.) Ghost [the Patrick Swayze movie] 2.)

You're quite welcome. I ran across that the other day and now I can't un-know it, so I see it all the time now.  It's actually a little bit irritating.  It's like seeing Trajan being used as the font on 90% of movie posters now.

I've been seeing it for a while, but couldn't put a name to it & thought it was just another thing I was alone in thinking. It was incredibly reassuring to read that article; to know not only does the issue have a name but a phenomenon that bothers many people. Again, I thank you for providing the link! It's relieving to know that the problem exists beyond my own headspace.
