Just got my copy from Netflix.  DVDfab workin' on it right now.
When it comes time for Twilight, breaking wind, make sure it's version 8.1.6.3.  The old version won't work.

Comcast On Demand has made the Twilight series available same day as DVD since the beginning.  All I've had to do is record it and then import it into Nerovision.  So I never had to deal with that particular issue thank god.

Don't you mean INTERPOL? The MPAA just rates things, I don't think they have any jurisdiction over matters of intellectual property. Unless they forward your call to INTERPOL.  ;)

I thought they could send threatening letters to people and get their internet shut off.

Shut off my...or someone's... internet?   Oh and... INTERPOL?!!!   REALLY?!!!!
And I'm worse than Hitler.

Mine (and the Capt American and the new Fun With Flick movies) arrive on Friday and I got the MP3s today.

Should be a full weekend.

RVR II

My copy arrives tomorrow from Netflix (had to finish my Ren & Stimpy uncut disc collection first) 8)
Then comes Breaking Wind :speechless:

I don't know about anyone else, but I had a heck of a time mixing this one through Audacity.  There are so many lines in the film that are spoken almost in a whisper, then very loud parts.  I am on my second reauthor because the riff was too loud in some parts, too low in others.  I'm using the "Amplify" feature to back off some, up others.  This isn't the first film I've had trouble like this with ( I'm a bit anal about my audio in RiffTrax), but this one is especially hard.

Use the Auto Duck function. Put the riff just below the movie audio, select the movie audio, and go to effects->auto duck.

Captain America is a bitch to rip. Make sure DVDFab is up to date.

I keep my DVDs on regular disc and just use my ipod to play the mp3

Sometimes that doesn't work 100% though. I've had to tweak it.

This is the reason I compress all of mine. Found the perfect mix of CoolEdit filters to amp up the dialogue, and down the noise.
...and there he was, reigning supreme at number two.  The One... The Only... The Unabeefer.

as a rule I lower the rifftrax 7 decibels in audacity and then use the auto duck effect.

Oh yeah I lower it 7 decibels just to level it with the soundtrac.  When I auto duck I lower the soundtrac 12 decibels against the rifftrax.

Since I don't care about preserving the 5.1 on my riffed movies I run the movie audio through Goldwave and first I reduce any loud parts if they are over a certain threshold and then I boost the quiet parts if they are under a certain level to even things out. I run the riff file minus intro/outros/disembaudio through a program called Levelator then I match the overall volume of the riff to a couple clicks above the movie audio. Then it gets auto ducked. Every once I a great while I have to tweak the levels but for 99% of my mixes doing all the above as a default gets everything perfect for me.

I always use the autoduck feature, however, sometimes the volume still needs tweaking.  This one is a prime example.
