Sidenote: Does the US DVD have commentary?

I have the blu ray, and it has 2 commentary tracks.  Not sure about the DVD though.
...and there he was, reigning supreme at number two.  The One... The Only... The Unabeefer.

Nope, the DVD only has a few featurettes. Another greedy studio tactic trying to get consumers to upgrade to Blu, methinks.

I take it James Franco's not one of the commentators?

When it comes time for Twilight, breaking wind, make sure it's version 8.1.6.3.  The old version won't work.

Comcast On Demand has made the Twilight series available same day as DVD since the beginning.  All I've had to do is record it and then import it into Nerovision.  So I never had to deal with that particular issue thank god.

Don't you mean INTERPOL? The MPAA just rates things, I don't think they have any jurisdiction over matters of intellectual property. Unless they forward your call to INTERPOL.  ;)

Since there is no child board yet.... Rise of the Planet of the Apes is there really no other sync line between these two?:

Seems a long time without a line.

As I brought up in other posts, this film has some long central passages of dialogue-free sequences (brilliantly executed IMO, the best parts of the film). Just... imagine the sync delays were they to riff No Country For Old Men. A large portion of this movie is 100% apes so, necessarily, the story of their jailbreak is told through gestures & visual storytelling.

MrTorso

Oh yeah.  That would make sense.  It has been awhile since I watched this so I wasn't thinking where the lines were in the movie.
