Yeah, that's another reason I'm optimistic about this project.  The Muppet Youtube videos definitely capture the classic Muppet style of humor and Jim Henson's love of both new technologies and experimentation.  One wonders what Jim himself would have done with CGI.

Well, just remember we wouldn't have Farscape without Henson's company (they did the CGI for the show, too, I believe.)

I have been loving the (all too infrequent) Youtube videos. ALthough the new one with Kermit interviewing actors on the Pirates of the Carribean red carpet opening is kinda lame.

Haven't seen the interview, but the Muppet Channel has been gold.

I am extremely happy that they remade the Thog costume!

Oh yeah, he doesn't have the lazy eye problem any more!

I'm really glad they're putting so much effort into this, I hope it really shines through in the end.

So awesome. I'm more excited than I should be about Wayne and Wanda being in the movie.

The Green Lantern parody teaser was also quite spectacular.

I really hope this is good. It doesn't bode well, though, that the joke which fell flat was the one involving the new muppet.

Everything i have seen so far makes me think this will be perfect, and totally fit the humor of the muppets.  That statler joke (or is waldorf?) in the green lantern parody has me laughing everytime.

Fun movie.  Did manage to capture the feel of the old movies.

I nostagliaed hard.

Here's hoping for a Statler and Waldorf Blu-Ray commentary track.

I saw it today.  Kind of a weird movie.  Lotta fourth wall breaking and ridiculous improbabilities and randomness.
