That running joke is OVER. Oh, wait, no it's not.
"Did she just say Chipping?"

Darth Geek

I like that they seem to be doing more variations on it nowadays. I particulalrly liked it in (IIRC) Spiderman 3 when Bill says "EVERY %$#&@ TIME!"

Another one I'm sick of: short jokes, usually involving Tom Cruise or Al Pacino (although I do like Mike's Pacino impression). And just to be clear, I'm 6 foot 3, so it has nothing to do with finding them insulting. I just don't find them funny.
I do like the short jokes (particularly the Leprechaun ones in the Rl House on Haunted Hill), but I like it when they switch it up more. The Al Pacino reference is geting old (although the Pacino impression is funny), I like it better when they reference Dudley Moore, and I love that impression.

Have they done any Gary Oldman jokes? He was once a dwarf, you know.

It has to be said, one thing I've learned from Rifftrax is that Gary Oldman is an incredibly versatile actor. Zorg from The Fifth Element. Gordon from The Dark Knight. Sirius Black from Harry Potter. I honestly never realized these were all the same guy until Rifftrax encouraged me to watch these movies over and over. And now this thing that Mr. Katonic posted... I don't know what to say, other than, I'm duly impressed.

Also, I'm a little ashamed to say this, but I actually like the "It's over, oh no it isn't" jokes  I can see how that would be getting old for some people, but for me, after Eragon and Return of the King, that's in the "GET OFF MY PLANE!" department of 'never gets old' jokes.

Speaking of the versatility of Gary Oldman....the Russian hijacker.

The "It's over, oh no it isn't" jokes haven't gotten old for me so much as (dare I say it) I think Cinematic Titanic does them better....   :speechless:

For plenty more Gary Oldman jokes, you can check out our iRiff of "Lost In Space" as you see him chewing the scenery all over the place.   ;D

Actually, I thought he was the most enjoyable part of that film.

ShadowDog

What made Oldman's turn in the Batman movies so special is those are the only movies where he looks pretty much like himself.  In everything else he looks jacked the hell up.

He is, but that's because he's chewing the scenery.

In Hannibal, the scenery chewed him. ("It seemed like a good idea at the time.")

I still want to see a reviewer actually ask an actor like Gary Olman or Jack Nickolson what scenery tastes like.

Not before someone asks William Shatner.  Ever heard the "sabotage" tape?  Or the thing with Bubba The Love Sponge (or was it Mancow) about the toupee?

:D

I don't think Shatner has ever eaten anything other than scenery in his life (apparently it's rather fattening) so he wouldn't have a point of comparison.
