I sure hope that sword has a heart on the hilt because if not, Scotty boy needs to go find a tailor.

:D That sort of composition can't just happen accidentally, can it?

Whelp, that cover is ruined forever... :D

...hahahahahahahahahaha! You guys are horrible!  :D

Bryan, that heart was so unnecessary from the get-go. *chuckles*

Well, where else would he pull out a magical sword powered by love.  Wait, don't answer that.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh boy!  That was a juxtaposition of badass!!

My highlights:

Knives/Ramona library fight, confirmed!

Ingram!!

and

Kim.

And sometime later this year, I'm gonna score all six of these:

That's enough for me now; only a smidgen over a month until the release of the final book and two months for this celebration of fun!   :)

I'm LOVING everything about the preview except Cera, who still seems too Cera and not Pilgrim enough for me BUT in Edgar I trust.

What the hell is with Knives (?) jumping up and down and screaming?  I read the books a crapload of times and don't remember anything like that.

Also, I hope all the little incidental "sound effects" like the doorbell's "ding dong" aren't just in the trailer, but in the movie itself...I like them.  Also, how awesome is the extra life thing?  A lesser director would have left out the video game jokes, I think, which would be sad.

I don't know, the whole Amazon ordering/delivery material hit the right pitch for me, and I wasn't seeing Cera at all. Now as for the fights, I'm hoping for the best. That's a different monster altogether... :)

Regarding Knives' jumping/screaming; I just chalked that up to her anticipation for seeing Sex Bob-omb for her first time as it's linked w/ the Patel battle. If that is the reason, I think it works wonderfully as the precocious Knives is just getting her feet wet into the whole music scene at that point in time. And the 1-UP piece would've been the 4th still I would've posted. That was too perfect.

Luckily, the books don't take very long to speed through. Definitely worth picking up immediately.

Yeah, they really should have gone with Zac Efron in the role.

Though I still don't think Cera is going to channel Scott as he should be, the movie overall is going to be really good.  I just feel bad that Cera couldn't find it in himself to go beyond his usual low key antics and try something new.  I think he has it in him, and I partly blame Wright for not telling him to give it more energy and verve.  Wait?  Did I use verve correctly?  I'm going to assume I did.

Don't forget, people like Cera as Cera.  I have to wonder if they aren't picking up the more "Cera-esque" scenes in an attempt to get more people to see the film.

It worked for "Jack":  bill Robin WIlliams as a kid in a wacky guy's body, and then blindside the audience with the most DEPRESSING STORY EVER ABOUT A 10 YEAR OLD CONTEMPLATING HIS OWN MORTALITY.  I'd spoiler that, but come on, the movie's like 15 years old.

That's a good point; hadn't considered that.

I hope that is the case, also.
