I love the video game music, the visual sound effects, and the fact that they added stuff but still made it feel Scott Pilgrimy...

But most of all, I love the line "Sometimes I let him do the wide shots...when I feel like gettin' blazed back in my Winnie"

I really, really liked that small glimpse from Edgar's take on the Pilgrim/Lee fight, but I hope a fragment  from their dialogue exchanges in Volume 2 does find its way into the movie, too. They're so great, and one morsel from it's extremely important concerning exposition. Anywho, Edgar's gonna need to work a skateboard into the fight, because how else is Scott gonna score his Mithril-board?!!

:)

Oh man, I'm so happy I've a PS3 now...

How neat was that?!!

T-RAD:  I bet it isn't as neat as this:

This kind of confirms what I've been thinking:  the US ads have had Michael Cera seem more...well, Michael Cera.  He is definitely more Scott Pilgrim in this trailer.

At least, the real system seller arrives for me.

Ever so briefly you can see the robot that plagues Scott at the costume party from Vol. 5

I'm bringing this back up for the release of the finale, I cannot chime in yet, because my copy isn't arriving until Monday (which is grand b/c I don't have any time up until Tuesday anyway). So for anyone that's read it, did it deliver, and in general, thoughts on the entire run?

The entire run:  great.  Finale: meh.  It ends well, but it is not as well written as the other books, in my opinion.

Couldn't agree more.  Glad I'm not the only one who felt the finale was a little weak.  I'm curious to see how the movie handles the ending.

I can see that ending working for the movie.
