Something I ask myself every time I see a copy of Armageddon.....especially the Criterion one.

That's nothing to brag about.

ive got those two fine discs as well in my collection.  in fact the Rock was my first criterion Disc cause i liked the rock a lot and wanted special features.  and now i own 100 or so criterions so in a way michael bay introduced me to kurosawa....

Is it bad that I own both on Blu-Ray?

I've not seen Avatar yet; first attempt to see it the Imax projector was broken, second attempt it was sold out (3 months after release no-less), but I love it mostly because it sends the nerds into an angry frenzy. It's the "Niagara Falls" of the internet.

I think i know where they get thier inspiration.  Subtract cartoons and comedies out of there and you virtually have a Rifftrax catalogue.  I can't wait till they do 'Passion of the Christ'.

How many times are we going to have to tell people that there is no way they will ever riff Passion of the Christ.  I mean Mike will not touch showgirls so there is no chance he will touch this.  Plus what would be the point,offending a bunch of people for no good reason?
