Well Netflix won't get it till next month I guess, and Red Box isn't listing it yet.. :-[ :-[

I'm sure my friend Internet will find a way for me to get it.
Send that friend my way ;D

Hell, if you're not too particular you can get it now (so I've heard).

But will it work with the version coming out in November?  (the one everyone will want to own)

people want to own this movie? ???

Something I ask myself every time I see a copy of Armageddon.....especially the Criterion one.

Yes.  I know people who are very much looking forward to this coming out.   Only in November when it will be in a multi-disc set with 3-D, deleted scenes, making of docs and other extras....

This bare-bones thing coming out on the 22nd....not so much.

I think what really made this one easy was Cole announcing it in the intro to Poltergeist.

Aw man. I don't wanna watch Avatar. :(

I feel the same.  I avoided it in the theaters (although I probably should have checked it out to see it in 3D).

I don't know why I really have no desire to see this.

I mean, I was really looking forward to the New Moon Rifftrax, because in a bizarre way, I really wanted to have an excuse to watch that.

This one, not so much.

goflyblind

maybe it'll sync with the aviator as well. :-\

I'm not looking forward to seeing this either.  It doesn't look bad, just... boring.

I'll talk to the DVD guy across from my office at our plaza location this weekend to see what kinda deal he can cut me 8)

It actually was pretty spectacular in 3-D, I'll have to admit. Not a lot of the expected IN YOUR FACE stuff, but a lot of beautiful extensions of depth to the scenery. The Multimedia/animation geek in me was brainfried by the amazing CGI work, so the story really didn't really matter to me much. And the story's not much, I'll admit - but it certainly wasn't the full-on piece of crap a lot of people who didn't like it have made it out to be. The main problem was that it was just overhyped beyond belief.

That's an A+ for speed and effort.  Well done.

I downloaded it last night as soon as I heard the Poltergeist intro

As long as progressive means "completely unoriginal and devoid of depth" and the high praise heaped upon the work is entirely based upon it being nice to look at.  In this sense, Megan Fox is a progressive actress, and The Hills was the most important television show of the last 10 years.  It is truly a bold, experimental piece of work, keeping in mind that crystal meth and fat substitute Olestra (which brought the phrase "anal leakage" into our lexicon) were also the results of experimentation.

And in that same sense Slumdog Milliionare is progressive. I hope you die if you disagree, Slumdog has the same generic plot and character flaws.

Actually, if this is an example of the vitriol that will be in the final product, then I might just skip it.  I don't want to spend $4 to listen to 3 guys with anger issues unleash on a movie I'm probably going to find boring anyway.
