Transformers 1 and 2. I will fight about it!

Bob

(excluding the obvious Uve Bol movies and Ecks vs Sever.....)

For me it had to be either Ishtar or Wedding Crashers.    Was not even one smile in those movies for me.   They were soul-crushingly unfunny.

Rattrap007

North... lotta pain associated with that turd..

I will agree with the above, bad comedies are always the worst.  Bad comedies aimed at children are worse still.

I'm going to cheat and give top 3, but, in order:

1. Dudley Do-Right...could not finish that one.  Got ten minutes in and ejected it.  Paid full rental price, too, and figured it was money I didn't need to have back.

2. Disaster Movie...The first parody movie ever to not even attempt jokes, instead relying entirely on "Wow, didn't you see that movie?" to carry every single minute.  I've never seen such a blatant attempt to remove humor in favor of pop culture references in my life.  When you make "Meet the Spartans" look good by comparison...

3. Chairman of the Board...the funniest moments of the entire movie were the continuity errors when Jack Warden's glass changes hands and then mysteriously disappears.  That's right, a MISTAKE was the only funny moment.

Say what you will about Uwe Boll, the man makes horrible, horrible crap, but very FAST-PACED horrible, horrible crap.
One Man Band Riffs.  18 riffs, over 600 served, since 2009.

Doctor Who?

I saw The Beast of Whatever flats episode of MST3K a couple weeks ago and I have to say that may be the worst film I have ever seen.  Maybe The Room is worse, maybe.

Nothing worse than a boring film... unless it's a film that isn't boring and somehow manages to be worse than a movie that is boring anyway... so I would say for one, North. The Alvin and the chipmunks movies too(not the animated film, that one was actually way better), Troll 2, Baby Geniuses, and Alone in the dark... Oh, I almost forgot... AVATAR... worst movie ever.

That's The Beast of Yucca Flats directed by Coleman Francis. Anyone who seriously thinks Ed Wood deserves the title, "Worst Director" needs to watch all three of the films made by this man. He also directed The Skydivers and Red Zone Cuba. I actually found The Beast of Yucca Flats to be more entertaining than his other two films because there's a surreal quality to it.

Oh I forgot Red zone cuba, that was painful too.  Oh what about the boring German version of Hamlet,it takes real talent to make Hamlet boring.

But Alfred Molina delivers such a command performance!

Crow T. Robot 666

Beast of Yucca Flats did have that awesome narration that made no sense no matter how high you were.

Well, it's actually really easy to make Hamlet boring, all you have to do is read instead of act...which is exactly how the dubbing actors approached this one.

This brings up a good question. What is a bad movie, anyway? To my mind, a bad movie is a movie that people don't enjoy watching. From that perspective, a lot of "bad movies" really aren't bad movies. I mean, sure The Room ain't exactly Scorsese, but people love getting together at midnight at an arthouse and watching The Room. Same with Plan 9. Same with a lot of "bad movies".

So let me ask you: if people like to watch a movie, is it really "bad"?

Darth Geek

Well, this thread is "Worst movie ever", so it definitely has to be beyond "so bad it's good" status. Boring movies (especially movies that are supposed to be exiting in some way, as apposed to dramas) are the worst. Along with bad comedies.

Worst movie I've ever seen? Troll 2 is up there, but I did sit through the whole thing (this was years before it was riffed). Chicago is one of the few movies I have EVER turned off, so utterly despicable. Pulp Fiction is just loathsome to me on every level, and the only reason I didn't turn it off was I was watching it with my roommate.
