To those who want a full movie -- great idea until it would ever come to fruition.  How hard would it be to find a time without people complaining that they couldn't be there?  ...That and how much of the guy's lives would that take up.  That would be more time away from their families in the office....

Finding a way to rerun it (which I don't think would be all that hard) would solve that problem, but, even if it didn't, it still affords an opportunity to those who live in places they don't visit to attend a live show. If you can't make it, it's no different to not being able to make it to the performance the night they are in town. Sure it would suck, but life would go on. And I'm pretty sure the guys are no strangers to complaining. ;P

Also, it's one night once in a while. It's no different to when they travel and do live shows. I don't really see it as being a huge deal.
FINE

:(  I'm busy those days.

I would actually rather buy the short first and see it live afterwards. The way it is, I'm paying for less. If I bought it first I could enjoy the whole thing as brand new, then get thinning hair silhouettes, extra jokes and a Q&A for free later. I'd buy the short either way, but after I've seen it for free it's just redundant and makes me feel like an obsessive loser buying everything with a brand logo on it and complaining about it afterwards. Almost as if I bought a bunch of stuff about... I dunno, space... battles, and then hated the guy who "made me" buy it. Thank God nothing like that actually exists.

I don't think we'll "just" be doing live riffs of shorts, but that's not something I can answer. But I thought I'd chime in and let you know that we're aware of your banter.

By "we" do you mean just you and Bill? 'Cause Mike and Kevin never seem to come around here anymore.

There are more people who work at / for RiffTrax than the riffers :P

I'm confused. Do you work for "Rifftrax" or do you work for "Legend Films?" Cos you know, that poster I got was from Legend Films. I'm starting to think this whole "Rifftrax" thing is some sort of tax dodge.

Which reminds me, to you less-visible folks at RiffTrax: thank you for all your hard work to pull together the RiffTrax Live Online event. I thought you all did an excellent job making it work smoothly. I was impressed.
