Heh, nobody got my joke.

I got your joke too. I'm just careful with who I share my opinions with. You never know if they are listening in to you talking about how the WTC wasn't collapsed by planes, but by thermite and bombs placed in the sublevels of the building.

Next thing you know, you're stuck in a secret prison in Europe with duct tape across your mouth. :-X

Piff, the government's nowhere near that efficient. That one blabbermouth was all over the news spouting his Loose Change idiocy, and he's still alive and well. Besides, look how bad they are at covering their tracks on everything else- they've pretty much admitted to having no idea of what they were doing half the time, and the CIA prisons are an open secret. Conspiracy theories rely on people being competent in large numbers and that, I won't buy.

Minnesota

not that i believe the conspericy but can someone please tell me what happened to the 3rd world trade center building? probably not the forum (or even thread) to ask but if someone knows the answer i'd be very grateful.

They had it digitally removed because it would just remind people of the other two.
Snowhead the Blue Reindeer gave me all the presents in the world.

But a bunch of terrorists were that component?

And yeah, this probably isn't the place to discuss it.  Maybe a new topic, but I'd applaud you if you had the balls to create a topic for it.

Oh, I get it. Ha.

Anyway, I was prepared to tell you that you were being stupid and oversensitive about that trailer, since one hears stuff like that about a ridiculous number of things (Oh, I can't believe they released the Two Towers at a time like this!) but seriously, it was 'plane, plane, explosive, towers falling.' I'm sure it didn't come off that way in the movie, but it certainly seems as though someone deliberately edited that into the trailer.

WHY?

I completely agree about people being oversensitive about it, like wanting to remove images of the towers from movies and similar nonsense. And the retards complaining about The Two Towers were just, well, retarded. But the Stealth trailer was obviously a calculated attempt to play on people's emotions. Tasteless.

As for Dr. Impossible, yeah, I completely missed your joke. I get it now. I guess I managed to erase that ridiculous conspiracy theory from my memory.

You shouldn't erase things from your mind, it makes it harder to get jokes about them.

Plus, you might keep renting Armageddon over and over, thinking each time, "Hmm, this looks interesting."

Red Tape

I nominate nearly all the dialog from the movie "Dungeons and Dragons". Most of it is pretty bad, so here is just one sample that stood out to me:

"The only thing I know is, you oughta take your business out of town before you get the words 'Outsiders not appreciated' branded right. Where. Your. Nose. Used. To. Be. Get it? Shlubshlub."

Yeah, people have been using that argument at least since the Kennedy assassination theories were first getting popular, and it's still equally viable. The only counterarguments are a.) It's all an elaborate double-blind or b.) the government just doesn't care what they say, and both seem unrealistic in concordance with the idiocies in question.

And I'd love to see World Trade Center riffed, but that would take a lot of balls. A LOT of balls.

Oh, we settled that question. It's "This is where the fish lives," hands down.
