Dear mike got a few Qs for ya (Disembaudio pick any one to answer):

Back in the MST3K days, was there ever a movie you want to have riffed, but the rest of the group voted it down? Also the vice versa of the question was there one you did not want to riff but were out voted and it made it to the show?

What do you typically snack on while writing a Rifftrax?

Is there any MST3K sketch out there that you are very embarrassed that you did? Such as Captain Janeway, the giant baby diaper, the "local color" hick, Glen Manning, etc? (If Kevin or Bill is there, same question)

You people bring matches for Mikey?

You did a riff with your wife Bridget a while back. Will we see her return for another riff? Perhaps a romantic movie?

I like that you felt you needed to remind Mike of his wife's name. :D

Bridget has only one T, by the way.

He may have a lot of other secret wives we don't know about. :D

Dear Mike,
I recently bought the videogame "Bully" for my Xbox, and was shocked at the similarities to the MST-riffed movie, "The Teenage Strangler"!
The setting is at a school, and the main character is named Jimmy! He has nerdy guys whining at him! The music while you run around campus has that same creepy funky sound as the movie! And if you go to the movie theater (spoiler), there is a movie about a killer janitor!
Isn't that weird?

I think it would be fun to play a game where I'm being made fun of by Mike and the Rifftrax guys. Maybe even an adventure featuring several movie scenes or something like that. Is there the possibility of a game release at any time in the future?

I wonder why a mod hasn't locked this thread?

Or do they look at it and occasionally pass along interesting ideas/thoughts to Mike &/or Kevin &/or Bill?  (Or do MKorB 'look in' on occasion?)

I would guess that they find it humorous that people still post questions.

LucasM

Yeah... but the drawback is that people - like the two posting questions right above what I just did - only JUST arrived on the boards (each has a "1" by "number of posts"), they are only JUST getting into RiffTrax, and might be 'put off' by finding a thread where they thought they could converse with their heroes, only to find that nothing written in here for maybe over two years has likely even been seen, much less would it be responded to.

I remember when I first found RiffTrax, and this thread, and posted in it, I was unaware that the podcast was dead, and wasn't real pleased when people made fun of my not knowing that.  I wasn't dissuaded from posting again, but I was a lot more tentative at that point as to whether I would STAY on the boards, because from the experience with this thread I anticipated FAR more people would continue to be rude elsewhere in the forums.

I just don't think it is 'good for business' to leave it open as it is.  A thread called, "Knowing it won't be responded to: If you could ask Mike Kevin or Bill a question, what would it be?" might be more 'useful' to people.  It would still provide an opportunity to throw questions out there (that might be funny, or that people other than MK or B might know the answer to), but wouldn't set up new people to the boards to be disappointed or ridiculed.

Just my thoughts on it.

I'm downloading The Rifftrax blog, and I noticed that themost rcent one was from 9/23/09. Will there be any more podcasts?

Hello Mike,

Have you ever considered switching your long distance service?  Are you happy with your current car insurance company?  Would you ever be interested in a scooter or power chair (fully paid for by medicare)?  Do you have mesothelioma and need legal representation?  Do you wish to go back to school to be a dental technician or to learn about computers?  Are you driving a lemon?  Do you need new carpet or hardwood installed?

:speechless:

Also, do you think they will ever run old MST3K episodes in the midday desert of sucky, mediocre TV???

"I love you Braaaaaaaaaak!!!"

Dear Mike (and those other 2 characters, B & K)..

Are we all pawns in your little RiffTrax world where-as you make us watch modern movies that we refused to see when they were out in theaters, to torment us?! :-\
I mean, some of us are so addicted to your brand of humor that we will put ourselves through these movies Just to hear your RiffTrax! :grr:

Have you no sense of decency when it comes to our ability to withstand such mental anguish?! :'(

Thanks for not reading this.
Your Biggest Fan, Isaac
:D :D :D

Mike-

I have to do an essay on The American Dream and whether or not it is achievable in today's America, for my humanities class.  Do you like America?  If so, why?  If you hate it, why?  I need an answer by tomorrow, otherwise I will fail the class and get kicked out of college!  I'll have to go back to my old job selling rock cocaine!
