(could have done without the shower shot of his soaked up wang, though).

Please tell me you meant to write "soaped up"...?

While there will be films that an overwhelming majority of people may hate/like, there are always going to be a couple of staunch defenders/attackers.

For the record, Thrifty, I didn't mind Surviving Christmas either.

Yes. It's a downward shower shot, and it's soaped up to try to hide it, but just makes it more obvious.

Good....because I was thinking, "Soaked up....water?" and would end up morbidly curious about seeing....

Don't watch it for that, good God... Watch it for Leguizamo, if you like him when he's playing goofy and manic. The Pest is a Leguizamo vehicle like Ferris Bueller's Day Off is a Mathew Broderick vehicle. Take that for what you will.

Well, I'm one of those weirdos who likes Spawn partially for him......

Spawn is where I became a big fan of Leguizamo's and yes, he is the best part of that movie. It's not the cinematic abomination some people make it out to be. It has it's fun aspects, but overall not too good. It also takes itself pretty serious, which would make it an excellent iRiff target (Rifftrax probably wouldn't riff it due to it's relative obscurity).

I always thought of it more of an Alan Ruck vehicle.  Among his best.

Ferris Bueuler?  Or The Pest?

Ruck is another one that you shake your head and wonder, "Why aren't they more famous?"

Apart from Ferris Bueller, I'm not sure he really was given a chance to shine, let alone take the lead in his own movie.

People who I think should be more famous - Julie Delpy and Elisabeth Shue.

I know!  After his great performance in Ferris Bueller, I think he's only been in a few minor screen roles (Speed, and Generations as the Enterprise Captain are the only ones I can think of off hand).

Elisabeth Shue was in the most recent Curb Your Enthusiasm.  She still looks great.

He was on "Spin City" all of that time....you would have thought that that might have gotten him a leg up....

EDIT - Yikes...found this on IMDB...."Nearly died of septicemia in 2002."   :-\
