Is Mutant 101 a name of an existing character? I know there is a Mutant 23, or X-23, character.

Beats me. The X-men universe is so complex and there's a LOT of history to explore across decades of graphic novels. That reminds me, has anybody else watched Comic Book Girl 19's history of the X-men series? It's pretty awesome and really comprehensive.

Quick google for "Mutant 101" just turns up hits from sites educating people about X-Men. Since comic book fans have made it a point to document EVERYTHING on the web, I'm gonna guess that's a movie-only designation.
