I like Jeepers Creepers if for no other reason than that snotty Mac kid got skinned alive.
I couldn't help but like League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. I know the book was better. But I can't help it. Sean Connery has this hypnotic pull.
Is Gremlins considered a bad movie? Gotta love the blender scene.
Also, Krull! Go cheesy sci-fi!
And am I the only person in the universe that thought the movie Oscar (with Sly Stallone) was funny?
Can't forget the Conan movies!
Mystery Men, Galaxy Quest, Bowfinger

no. Gremlins is not a bad movie; it is a classic.
there, there my dear. Few corpses are worth tears.

Yeah and so is Conan The Barbarian. Conan The destroyer was a bit cheesy. It was to lighthearted that time around and that comedic sidekick of his was a moron and full of cliches.

I liked Krull because there's just so much stuff going on... Whatever else you want to say about it, that movie does move at a fairly decent clip.

A friend (who was definitely NOT what you'd consider a Stallone fan) introduced me to this movie years ago; and I really enjoyed it.

Haven't seen Bowfinger, but I liked Mystery Men a great deal, and I LOVE Galaxy Quest.

Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen."

Yea... I think Galaxy Quest has unofficially earned some degree of "cult classic" status. One of the few movies that completely exceeded all of my expectations going into it... not that my expectations were very high to begin with... but you get the idea.

Here's a few more:

Gymkata
Just One of the Guys
Showgirls

I have a blind spot when it comes to "tweener" films.  I've seen - and enjoyed - a whole bunch of 'em:

Aquamarine
Freaky Friday (remake)
Chasing Liberty
First Daughter
She's the Man

Shoot, I didn't even hate Crossroads...

Minnesota

Harry and the Hendersons (new on dvd this week),
Over the Top,
The Hillz (paris hilton movie),
XxX: State of the Union,
the Grudge,
Mimic 2 (riff purposes)
Red Dawn (riff purposes)

It's hard to classify what makes a bad movie, so I'd be out of place to tell you guys why phone booth is soooo bad... basically the lesson of this thread is that everybody has unique tastes

I enjoy every Stephen King TV miniseries so I'd add that one to my list
...my phone booth compromise... most people hate the King miniseries but I would defend them as good to great)

There are a few that I enjoy.  As in, a few that I've seen, I've enjoyed.  I hold a special place in my heart for Kingdom Hospital, just because of Jodelle Ferland.  (Ever notice I seem to enjoy things with Ferland in them?  Silent Hill, Kingdom Hospital... I think there's something to that.)

Dead and Deader

A zombie movie about a special forces dude (played by Dean Cain) who gets turned half-way, kind of like Blade only not as thoughtful. Think a zombie Daywalker. He runs around eating raw steaks to control his hunger for human brisket  and saving the world with his sidekicks, a token black guy who is excessively jiggy with it and an irritating film school student who waxes trite philosophics about bad horror movies.

Kingdom Hospital is pretty great, but I seriously enjoy them all even the oddballs like langoliers and the shining (in my own defence you did just say that you liked Silent Hill?! that one confuses me to no end )

Dead and Deader, might have to check that out, came out last year right?

RobtheBarbarian

Yup. I think it's a Sci-Fi Channel original... at least I saw it on the skiffy for the first time. I got it in Borders for

TWENTY DOLLARS

Normally I wouldn't take that kind of shit, but this movie is priceless. I think the price is based mostly on the fancy box they put it in to distract people from the movie itself.

Can't it be both?  ;)

I love both Clash of the Titans and Alien 3.  I don't consider either of them to be bad movies, but most people seem to disagree with me.  Anyone else love either of these movies?
