A woefully bad zombie movie from '05 about an outbreak in a prison. Bad, but not in a way that has you jumping up and screaming your hatred and frustration at the screen. Stupid characters, off-key acting, predictable plot and lots and lots of zombies getting blown apart, all to a shitty alternametal soundtrack. One of my favorites! Keep an ear open for the opening credits, cuz there's a song with lyrics that are essentially:

"Ho! Digga digga di do! Ho digga bo bo digga di do do!"

ScottotD

Does someone say "Zombizzle"?  because I'd watch it just to hear that.

No, but there's a pudgy kid who looks like Chunk from The Goonies who gets turned into a zombie, and of course the perfunctory booby scene. There's also a rather comical scene in the prison cafeteria of an entire crowd of people turning into zombies, puke flying everywhere and gore-covered guys stumbling around like retards. The DVD has some priceless "behind the scenes" type stuff on it, giving you a look at how amateur it really was, how casual the actors and crew were about it and how seriously the director took himself.

So critics not liking it makes it a bad movie? crap, that's pretty much everything in my DVD collection.  I was having a similar conversation at work during the week when we were looking at Empire's top 100 movies of all time, people seem to make a distinction between 'worthy' good movies (Goodfellas, The Day the Earth Stood Still, Shawshank Redemption, etc) and good movies that they just happen to like.  I find it strange.

I guess these would fall into this thread, although I'm not sure:

Cellular
Crank
Joy Ride
Starship Troopers
LOTS of Slasher movies
Con Air

Haha. I loved Joy Ride, and Con Air. I don't care if it's a silly Nick Cage movie, I loved it just the same. I didn't say critics not liking it made it crap. Critics loved the Rocketeer, but I thought it was boring.

I liked Phone Booth.  I thought Kiefer Sutherland was deliciously evil as the gunman.  He's got a great phone voice.   ;D

Kiefer Sutherland's voicing Raistlin in the upcoming animated Dragonlance movie. He's always got a voice acting career to fall back on should he ever blow all his 24 money.

Kinda like Mark Hamill.  He hasn't had a real role since Star Wars (like he really needs one), except that he does the voice of The Joker in the Batman cartoon series.

He actually does a lot of voice acting, and very well, too, which is lucky, because he can't be cast in a live-action role without people immediately seeing Luke Skywalker.

I'm not going to count, but I'd guess about 100 of them were voice gigs.

yeah i think even more than that.  hell for some reason the first thing he did after return of the jedi which must have been the top of his popularity was a voice for naussica valley of the wind.

This is one of those little quirks about reading the imdb. He didn't actually do the voiceover for that film until an English language track was recorded for the film a few years ago (2005, I think) when it was released stateside on dvd. Since the fim's original release was in 1984, it is listed as a 1984 credit for him.

Who's calling Big Trouble In Little China bad?

Charles Castle

Freddy Got Fingered - which I still defend. Rip Torn is hilarious.
