If they are going to do Venom, Peter needs to get the suit and slowly get more violent ovver the whole movie, and we don't get Venom as the villain until the NEXT movie.

I worked on this movie the other day.  I was on second unit and we were just doing some lighting tests for when the shooters came in after the weekend.  But it was huge.  Biggest set I've ever been on.  It was a re-creation of a whole block of Times Square.  So for all you Times Square fans, it makes an appearance in the film.  Oops, probably should have spoilered that for you guys.  Sorry.

I suspect there's going to be some special effects added to that costume. Probably a lot of CG Sparks and electric arcs and stuff.

seems like that would just make it worse, actually. For crying out loud, it looks like Eminem became on of The Blue Man Group.

Yeah, I was REALLY surprised when I saw the pictures of him from the filming, because I honestly thought that the casting news of him was a joke or a mistake or something. I didn't think it was real. I am really curious to see this, because I've always liked the Rhino in the comics. I'm just wondering how this is all going to pan out.

I think the news might have been misreported and Giamatti is playing the Chubby-Faced, Sweaty Absorbing Man.
