ah garak, what an excellent teacher he was.

I'm no fan of Harold and Kumar but How I Met Your Mother is pretty decent and Doogie Howser is definitely the highlight of that show.

I'm looking forward to this riff.

When I first saw this I thought it was going to be the new "Willy Wonka" getting riffed, and I thought it was a brilliant idea! My cousin dragged me to see that one -- what an utter mess.

But I've heard that the first one's nothing to write home about either, so I guess it'll make for a good riff too. Wouldn't it be lovely if we could have a double-feature and get both of them riffed? :)

The first adaptation is awful, but the second adaptation is both an excellent film and adaptation. It captures the spirit of the book better. I don't hate Gene Wilder, don't get me wrong, but his performance as Wonka was awful in the 1971 version. But what really gets to me are the goddamn songs. I actually have a relative who owns the soundtrack to this thing -- who wants to listen to "Oompa-Loompa-Dinkity-Doo" 167 times? (I'm guessing that's the number of times it takes before you finally decided to grab the gun out of your desk, put it to your temple, and pull the trigger.)
This iRiff will only be on sale for another few hours. Get it while it's cheap!

Awesome. I hate this movie. :)

Yes, yes, along with hugs, sunshine and cute fluffy kittens. I think I get it.   ;D

Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen."

The soundtrack?!   My, that would be a good way to get guests who overstay their welcome to leave.

Yeah, but even then you're better off just getting a copy of Yoko Ono and John Lennon's Cambridge 1969 and putting it on... LOUD.

A bit of advice for Mike on this riff - he may want to steer clear of any gay jokes, good natured or not, lest he offend his guest riffer....
