From AICN:
Will The Next X-MEN Be Dealing With Alternative Timelines??
I saw that on CHUD today. Sounds interesting.

Althoug, is Days of Future Past the one that introduces Cable? I really hope they don't use that embarrasing Liefeld monstrocity in the movie.

Nope, Days of Future Past was classic Claremont/Byrne era.  Early 1980s.

Yeah, introduced alternate timelines to the X-Men.  Don't hold that against it.

Yay, Cap as man out of time.  Of course, that was in Avengers, but it will be fun to see it in his own movies.

Villains I might like:

Crossbones (who represents modern day warfare and terror)
Red Skull again (hey, why not?)
MODOK (PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE!  But only if you aren't using him in Iron Man 3)
Arnim Zola (I know he died, but bring him back with no head and a TV on his chest.  Wait, did he die?  I don't remember).
Baron Zemo (relatively boring, but he could bring the Thunderbolts along with him.  I'd love to see Cap trounce a whole team of villains pretending to be heroes).

I could see Red Skull coming back, considering the way he went in the first film...

Yeah, it's a great way to get ahead of the curve.  Sure, today the kids love parkour, but they'll always come back to the pure excitement of the high jump!
