Ah, if you had said you didn't like the comedy I would have understood right away.  There are not a lot of things where people can have very opposite reactions to the same thing, but comedy is one of them.

I'm not sure.  I know he went to see it when it was in theaters, and I know he has it on DVD.  I don't know which version he has on DVD.  He served on a diesel sub (the Blenny) in the mid 50s.
