US Highlights: Jack's Back,

They made a sequel to that aweful Robin Williams movie?

The one where he just stands around and gapes at everything?

Young People Fucking (good underrated Canadian sex comedy/anthology)
Groundhog Day
The Quick and the Dead (fun Sam Riami western)
Stand By Me
Starman

Donnie Brasco

If you are a Canadian Netflix user, try to catch these before they expire at the end of the month.

Lost In Translation? More like Sucks in Translation.

The cinematic equivalent of Ambien with a bourbon chaser.

On a streaming note, Drive has also recently been added to the US rotation.

I agree with this. The acting is good, and the direction is good too. But just boring as hell in it's nature.

US Highlights: The Secret Policeman's Ball and another TedTalk.

Sideswipe

Who the hell is Ted and why does he talk so much?

TedTalks are speeches from the Ted Conference, which is a symposium for the world's leading thinkers to exchange interesting ideas and findings regarding science (primarily), art, politics and such.  I recommend checking some of them out, as many of them are very interesting and generally about 14 minutes on average.

For some reason What's New on Netflix missed a lot of Canadian movies the premiered on the first.  And oddly, some include films that where on before and I didn't even remember being dropped (Kick-Ass, American Psycho, Reservoir Dogs).  Must have picked them up again pretty fast.

Canadian Highlights: Hostel Part II (may I suggest Cruise Control?), Water For Elephants, Snow Flower and the Secret Fan, Remember Me (no), Furry Vengeance (rated G?  Oh, not that kind of furry), Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging, Definitely, Maybe, New York, I Love You, Charlie Wilson's War (if you haven't seen this one, I highly recommend it), Breach, Children of Men, The Emerald City of Oz (the anime one with the voice of Margot Kidder), Meet the Fockers, The Blind Swordsman: Zatoichi, Slings & Arrows, The Forsyte Saga, A Single Man and The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo (not the remake).

US Highlights: Jim Gaffigan: Mr Universe and Train to Nowhere

Canadian Highlights: Jim Gaffigan: Mr Universe and Kevin Hart: Laugh at My Pain.
