I meant to re-watch The Super Hero Squad Show, but now it's gone. Boo.

Canada: The Glades season 4 (wait, there were that many seasons of that show?)

USA: The Glades season 4 and the Devil's Knot.

Yeah that reminds me I haven't watched the HD Treks yet.

I'm guessing they won't have next gen in HD until after all the seasons are remastered and out on Blu-Ray for a while.

Doctor Who season 7 is finally available for the USA.

Some good new stuff:

Canada: Archer season 5 (already!), Scooby Doo: Mystery Incorporated season 2, Death Note (hopefully with subtitle option), and His Girl Friday.

US: A Muppet Christmas Carol (bit early, aren't we?), Death Note, Muppet Treasure Island, and World War Z.

UK: Elephant Tales, Fireman Sam, His Girl Friday, Hair, and Vacancy.

I've been binging on Friends tonight, the entire series is on Netflix now, in widescreen superHD, 5.1 surround sound.

I'm guessing these are the blu-ray versions?  I was thinking about spending some of my Amazon gift certificate bucks on the set but now I don't have to...

Friends was shot widescreen but from what I've heard they were not very careful keeping the very edges of the frame clean.  Reviews I've read say every once in a while you will see a piece of wood or some other part of the set at the edge but I haven't seen anything yet.  Of course all the "action" takes place in the 4:3 space, so there isn't much going on in the area where the black bars would be.

Just got an email from Netflix that they now have The Interview.
Wow, how bad must that movie suck for it to end up on Netflix this fast?..

Sideswipe

Pretty damn bad I am guessing.  Sony is trying to rake in all the forbidden fruit money as fast as they can before everyone finds out how shitty it is.

I was bieng threated with death by wolf raping before it was cool!.

Actually given the controversy and interest in the film, I would think Netflix payed up BIG money to get it on Instant so fast. I doubt it's an indication of the quality of the movie itself.

I just watched it. It's not particularly funny, but it's not terrible by any means.
