Stay all the way through the credits. There's supposed to be two extra scenes.

Today AMC theatres did a marathon running all day starting at 11:30 am I think where, for $40, you could see Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2, Thor 3D and Captain America 3D, which leads up to the midnight premiere of The Avengers in 3D. They had 4 different 3D glasses for each hero (Iron Man, the Hulk, etc.). It sounded cool, but I didn't have the cash, energy, or time to go to it.

forget it.  i just got back from the theater.  those  freaks are lining up 3 hours before showtime.  plus all they have left are 3D showings.  3D sucks.  damn i wanted bragging rights.

$40? Theatres here were doing it for $20. One was doing it for $15. Curse my gainful employment, or I'd be there right now instead of about to go to sleep.

I did the marathon. Tickets were 20 bucks, plus good deals on hot dogs, pizza slices and BBQ sandwhiches so you could eat all day without spending a fortune on overpriced popcorn and nachos.

I had a really great time. Kind of bummed that I dozed a bit during The Avengers.  Wide awake through the 5 movies I'd already seen, but the new one comes on and I start to fade. I still saw most of it and enjoyed it, but I need to see it again so I can fill in the blanks.
