Watching it now, got to love these VOD movies.

So what did you learn when watching this movie?

ManUnderMask

I survived the San Diego Comic Con 2010 Hall H stabbing.

We learned that someone can make a movie with several loose interpretations of a plot and cobble it together in something similar to a movie but not.

We also learned that Batwoman took an odd career change later in life. From a crime fighter (sort of) to what ever that was.

And whatever they were smoking from those skulls must have been real. Because they would have had to be on something to make that movie.

I learned that it is possible to sail around the world in a regular hot air balloon. Steve Fossett way over-designed his.

I learned that hot air balloonists are prone to uncomfortable touching.

I learned that being asked to be Adam to a colony of skimpily-dressed Eves isn't an appealing idea to hot-air balloonists.

I learned that tied neck handkerchiefs need to make a comeback.

I learned that, when you have a raft, it's important to start trying to make a raft.
Oh bite me, it's fun!

I learned that, when you have a raft, it's important to start trying to make a raft.

They needed a raft made of logs at the end for "proof" that the island existed.

Have to think they just couldn't afford the cost of damaging the rubber dingy they had, so just went ahead and ignored the fact that they were carrying one around on the beach...

But then why not just have them wash up on the beach without the rubber dingy, like most other movies about stranded people have done?   They couldn't have filmed it before the part about needing a log raft was written, since they start talking about building a raft as soon as they hit the beach.

That's what makes these types of movies so special, the complete lack of common sense while making them.

I suspected they need to build a heartier raft to use to travel some place, the smallish life raft they had may not have been capable of penetrating the tide and getting out to open water and making a trip to civilization.

I learned... WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON! (I guess I'll have to watch this again).

Also... if you find a girl strung up between two trees with skulls all around her, that's nothing to worry about. Not if there are girls in bikinis all around you.

I learned that Kevin has a long lost actor brother who runs like a girl.

I learned that "sports" basically consists of some kind of martial-arts wrestling.

I learned that the military gives out hugely oversized uniforms.

I learned that talking about other places will cause your arm to hurt, but only if you are very specific.

I learned that the military will just leave U.S. citizens stranded on a strange island if they make them mad.

Bob

I still did not learn where everyone and the buildings went at the end.......... ugh.

Joe Molotov

I learned that a movie doesn't have to make a lick of sense in order to get made.

Half the movies MST3K did, and many of the ones Rifftrax does fit that criteria.

I haven't seen this yet, but the preview makes it look like either a sequel or possibly a prequel to Wild Women of Wongo.

Hey, kids! Don't look now, but this little gem features one Steve Brodie (VAAAAAAAAN!!!) and one Taine Bodkin (an ABOMINATION!!) from Giant Spider Invasion!! I can't believe it, but it's actually a step down. 'Kay, I'm going back to watching the movie. I'm REALLY hoping for a chenille-covered Volkswagon Beetle.
WARNING: In case of Rapture, this dance belt will be unoccupied.
