I learned that the dog was the smartest character. He was also the only character whose name I can even remember (Melvin), other than "Mrs Frankenstein"  ::)

Also, I learned I'll watch any piece of garbage as long as it has girls in bikinis (I'm looking at you Horror of Spider Island)

So four guys can just walk... er... raft (which we never see) into a Naval base, and tell the guy in charge there's an island where Dr Frankenstein's granddaughter and a bunch of alien girls in leopard skin bikinis live. And instead of immediately throwing them out, they actually send a corvette to the island to check it out?

No wonder we have such a huge military budget.

I learned that you can insert a shot of an asian man sticking a needle into a dummy's eye at any time into a film. Doesn't matter where--just insert.

I learned that the Ted Nugent army is often sent in to investigate major island hallucinations.

That snakes and spiders have the power to numb even the most nimble fighters.

That Frankenstein is the largely ineffectual chump I always thought he was

That is you have a good projector and a blood bank and zombie/android slaves to help out (sorry, I have no idea what I'm talking about at this point), you too can have THE POWER THE POWER THE POWER!

I learned that EVEN THOUGH YOU HAVE A PERFECTLY GOOD INFLATABLE RAFT, you still need to make a raft out of wood...for some reason.

That raft was soooo small, how did all four guys and a dog fit in it to begin with?

I was wondering that myself.

I learned that, when you have a raft, it's important to start trying to make a raft.

They needed a raft made of logs at the end for "proof" that the island existed.

It would be easier to just use GPS.  Oh wait.  Duh.  '70s.

I learned Sheila Frankenstein is a very funny name.
