To be fair, in the Twilight universe sunlight doesn't kill vampires it just makes them sparkle.  Which this movie apparently forgot, I believe it has to be direct sunlight so you could quibble that the shade of the out-door wedding offered protection but what about on the beach while they're on the honeymoon?

THANK YOU! Finally someone else that noticed this

Heck, Pattison noticed it.

I learned that in order to learn things about their own culture and the "biology" they've lived with for centuries vampires have to turn to the Internet to look things up and that they don't even use Google to do it.

I learned that you can perform a Caesarean section without any medical training, and be shocked when the mother doesn't survive the procedure.

I learned that vampires sparkle in the sun, but only when it is convenient to the plot.

I learned that it's possible to direct a sex scene so gross that it make the sex scenes in The Room seem titillating by comparison.

blahnut

I learned this movie should have been titled Requiem For A Baby.
Rowsdower.

Wisteria flowers are actually tree wangs

Bella can apparently paint/photograph ribbon winning dog faces

The Volturi are massive bitches when it comes to spelling errors

Raefire

I learned that a movie can have more blood in it than Alien and still be PG-13.

DezzyRex

I learned that delivering mail to the Volturi is a dead-end job.  :rimshot:

I also learned that half the guests at a wedding party can manage to somehow not come into physical contact with any of the other half at any point during the entire party despite a whole lot of dancing being involved.  Otherwise, y'know, the humans might've noticed the vampires are supposed to be "ice cold" to the touch...

...and I also learned that, speaking of that whole "ice cold to the touch" thing, Bella 'cannot imagine sex being any better' (paraphrased of course) than it is with Edward, and that makes me wonder if:

a.) Bella has even less imagination than I had previously thought
b.) Bella is more seriously disturbed than I had previously thought
c.) Stephanie Meyer kinda forgot about the whole "ice cold" thing
d.) Stephanie Meyer is more seriously disturbed than I had previously thought
e.) All of the above

E. Definitely E.

CJones

I learned that I hate Alice's new haircut. I really can't stand short hair on girls. (And yes, I'm still peeved that my #1 from the last List of Crap, Rapunzel, didn't even make the list)

Also, yes, definitely E.

Trekker4747

Well, Alice's hair was always fairly "short" but, yeah, I wasn't a big fan of it in this movie.

I learned that Anna Kendrick's two minutes on screen are more interesting an entertaining than Kristen Stewart's 90, I wonder how much different this franchise would have been if Kendrick had been cast as Bella?

Probably not that much better.  It's not the actress that's dull, it's the character.

True. But at least Kendrick has a great rack we could have been watching instead.

Danecho1967

I've learned that I never seem to get tired of the ending credit Riff.

Chitty.  Chitty.  Bang-BANG.  Hmmmm.  Huh huh huh.

I have that same problem with a lot of vampire sex stories. For instance we're constantly reminded that vampires on Buffy and Angel are room temperature. But none of their many human sexual partners ever complain. *cough*bullshit*cough*
"Did she just say Chipping?"

Thrifty

I learned that if it's needed for the plot, vampires will go apeshit over the amount of human blood in a papercut.  Otherwise, they will allow several mostly empty bags with leftover blood to sit in the trash undisturbed.
