I saw it as well, and also liked it.  However, there was one moment where they didn't do it, but had the opportunity for the Red Skull to throw his arms in the air and shout, "CURSE YOU, CAPTAIN AMERICA!" as the camera zoomed away from him into the sky...and as stupid as that cliche is, I actually was hoping to see it happen.  Is that wrong?
One Man Band Riffs.  18 riffs, over 600 served, since 2009.

Yes. Yes, that is wrong. Horribly wrong.
Just kidding.

I am still dissapointed in the lack of a Reb Brown cameo (unless it was so quick I missed it). Or the guy who was in the 1990 Captain America movie.

I'd like to think Reb was one of the Hydra agents who went screaming over the handlebars of his motorcycle.  Either that, or that one railing kill.  Oh, crap, I probably should've spoiler alerted that bad things happen to nameless henchmen.

As for the other guy, I think Marvel 'forgot' his phone number somewhere. Or he finally fell victim to one of the many copycat 'Psych Hitlers' that followed the Nostalgia Critic's review.

"Could you pull over please? I think I'm gonna be sick."

Could you imagine a more pussy catchphrase for Captain America?

So, are you jonesing for Captain America action? Well, you're in luck! Because he's coming to DVD!

No, Noah, not the Reb Brown version. The even better Albert Pyun 1990 Captain America! You know! The one starring Matt Sallinger! This one:

For those who never saw it, it's roughly Corman's Fantastic Four levels of quality, albeit with better production values. And it's coming out right before the real film!

It's on MGM's DVD on demand service, so look for it online on July 19 if you're feeling masochistic enough to watch it.

oh my goodness, the Corman "Fantastic Four" movie is such a gem - like the perfect remedy for a crappy day.

Cap was fun - really thought the costumes were awesome.

Even though Nazis apparently just speak English with a German accent! haha

I am still waiting for one of these comic book movies to just have the Germans speaking English and put *Translated from German on the bottom of the screan.

Or a sequel to a superhero film to make reference to something from the previous film and have a subtitle saying *See last film.
