They both suffered from it.

But did Jones actually say Hoo-hah?

Poster from Comicon.  I was worried about the costume, but seeing it in "action", even in a painting, makes it seem all the more better.  Not to mention, this picture is utterly badass.  Also, it's my desktop background now, ha ha.

I have to say, this fan poster looks really amazing also:

I would love to see Captain America done as an action drama like Saving Private Ryan.  That would be so damn incredible.  Of course, it would be too awesome for cinema to hold, and therefore will never come to fruition.
I like artificial grape flavor, but I hate real grapes.  A paradox!?

Rad, I dig the panoramic poster there. This movie looks like it's gonna be cool as hell, Joe Johnston bringing that retro fun flavor.

Hi.

I'm Captain America. And here's me as Steve,

(Pretty sure that the modern costumed folks are a result of the pics being taken while the cameras weren't rolling.)

My main complaint with the costume is that the white parts of the costume (Except for the star) should be flat rather than shiny. But that's a bit nitpicky.

Love everything about this poster.  The fact that Cap is punching out Hitler, continuing a grand tradition, awesome!

Today is Chris Evans' birthday. He's 30. It's also the birthday of Kat Dennings' and Stellan Skaarsgard's from Thor.
I survived the San Diego Comic Con 2010 Hall H stabbing.

Wow!  That has got to be the coolest movie poster I have ever seen!

If i find it on Ebay I am buying it!

That is it I have to get a TARDIS and jump to the future so I can see this movie.

I love how, from a creative perspective, that poster is aesthetically like a poster you'd see for a movie released in the 40's. If you were to show this to someone back in the 40's they'd have thought it was for an upcoming movie in that era.
Being a genocidal maniac is not one of my turn ons.

Is it weird to hear the Safety Dance in my head watching Game of Thrones?

Yeah i know.  I know they take a lot of flak for being cheesy and having bad SFX but I have a real soft spot for the adventure movies and serials from the 40s and that poster just reminds me of them.  I have a feeling i am really going to enjoy this movie.  I am not sure how well it will do at the box office and mean from the trailer it looks like it is in the spirit of Sky captain(a movie i loved)and we all know how badly that bombed.

I really liked Sky Captain from an artistic standpoint.  Not a great movie, but I enjoyed it.

Doctor Who?

I am not saying it's Citizen Kane or anything like that i just really enjoy watching it.  In theater i flipped out when I noticed that the giant robots were the same ones from an old Superman animated short from the 40s.

So, are you jonesing for Captain America action? Well, you're in luck! Because he's coming to DVD!

No, Noah, not the Reb Brown version. The even better Albert Pyun 1990 Captain America! You know! The one starring Matt Sallinger! This one:

For those who never saw it, it's roughly Corman's Fantastic Four levels of quality, albeit with better production values. And it's coming out right before the real film!

It's on MGM's DVD on demand service, so look for it online on July 19 if you're feeling masochistic enough to watch it.
