Obligatory "Win one for Wakefield tomorrow" post.  No doubt followed by some sort of post cursing out our lack of run support or another bullpen implosion.

13 wins is all the guy needs... COME ON!!!!

*I have to go to bed before the game starts tomorrow since I have to leave for work at 4am Monday morning, so I'm getting it out of the way now.*

Well, knuckleballers can pitch into their 50's..... and at the rate he is going, we may just see that.

:D  Right. "Throwing program" and not "Please don't pick me for your crappy team"   :D

So much for being happy that you've been drafted. Prep right-hander Dylan Bundy, perhaps the top talent in one of the most loaded Major League Baseball drafts in years, has informed several teams not to select him because of fears they'll try to change his throwing program, a source close to Bundy told Yahoo! Sports. And he's not the only one. UCLA starter Trevor Bauer, also a potential top-five pick, shares Bundy's concern about teams' reticence to allow long-toss sessions in which pitchers throw the ball on an arc up to 300 feet in order to build up arm strength, according to another source. ... Bundy told the Pittsburgh Pirates, who own the No. 1 pick, and the Kansas City Royals, who pick fifth, that he'd prefer they not use their pick on him, according to the source.

Dear Brew-Crew,

Beat the Rockies! You're the best!!

Our PITCHER got a two run homer!

That was really pretty great.

But not as great as me leaving in the 13th to hit up the Lakefront!!  Epic, epic fail on my behalf.... :D

Alright, it was a fun two days at the ballpark. I've gotta request some maid service w/ a possible sweep on its way...

Let's go, Crew! Hey, and we're at .500 again!!

Uh, burn! I'm more psyched for this year's amateur draft than past ones, because we've picks 12 & 15 this year in an ultra-deep draft.

Got the latest Rifftrax burned to disk waiting to watch after the game but this Phillies - Reds game will not end.......  4-4 in the 14th now.....

Wilson Valdez pitches a scoreless top of the 19th and gets the win!  What a crazy game, this one beats Oswalt playing left field last year....

Bob

Cubs Justin Burg those 12 balls in a row.   Hey, I can do that!
