Watching the Yankees-Boston game on MLB and Bob Costas just announced that Manny had more "issues" with his laterst drug test and officially retired rather that go through the drug program again.

I'd like to follow more Baseball this year - so anyone know of some good shows *ahem* online *ahem* that will give me the best coverage?

Is there a law that American league baseball games have to take longer than the average cricket match?

Jeez, move it along people.

All Sox Yanks games take 4+ hours. It's in the constitution I think.

Bob

Sorry the Sox are shitting on you on your birthday.   :-\

I don't know who these guys calling themselves the Phillies are this year, manufacturing runs with ground balls, what's up with that?  ;D

Chooch is picking up right where he left off last year, calling great games and clutch hitting, got his first grand slam Saturday.

Marty, I'm super-stoked for our series early next week. It's too bad Zack or Corey can't partake in it, but nonetheless, it will be a fun early season litmus test for my squad.

And the Nyjer Morgan experience has been a hoot so far...Tony Plush FTW!  :D

Lets see, Halladay pitched last night, so if I'm counting right it looks like you guys will face the big 3: him, Lee, and Oswalt.   Hammels is looking good now also, that first start the wind was blowing him off the mound so that can be ignored, maybe this year he can get back to his '08 form.

Poor Blanton, teams must be so relieved that they aren't facing the other 4 that they have been beating up on him.  And he never has been good when he starts getting in trouble, he better learn this year.

Beats me. I watch NESN.  :D  Wouldn't they be on the "Yankee underdogs are overachieving" bandwagon anyway? They have a huge boner for A-Rod, Tex, & Jeter.
