F :grr: ing  Brewers

Spoke too soon, Phillies came back from 3 down to salvage the last game in the series.

Just a scant four innings away from an improbable sweep!  :)

On Tuesday, it was a sight seeing us dismantle Doc. And on Wednesday, you guys booed the Phillie-Bot!! You guys are so awful.  :D

Boooooooo, science!!! Booooooooooo!!   :)

On a sidenote, we're getting healthy! Oh, and Ryan Braun's going to be a lifetime Brewer!!  *dances in chair*

Yes K1. But let's worry about this season. The one where the Rockies are 13-5!!!!!!!

Well anais, you can add three to your "L" column in a little less than a month.   :)

Six Rockies' losses by the hands of us.

Our real life Zack Attack is almost ready....:)

Booo, Halladay allowed a run in the 9th.  ;D  I guess we'll keep him anyway...

Looked like Victorino passed out at the plate for a second after that inside the park home run.

Been watching the home San Diego broadcasts of the games on MLB.TV, just reminds me of how bad the local Phillies TV broadcast is.  Every time "wheels" opens his mouth I want to scream "shut the fuck up" at the screen.   Normally the radio is delayed more than the TV making it hard to use as a replacement for the audio, but the last few games the radio has been about 10 seconds ahead of TV, that has been much nicer, especially to have on in the background, hear something interesting happen and then go watch it happen.

Good day for Philly teams, Phillies get the sweep, Flyers force game 7, the Heat let the Sixers win so they can win the series at home.

Come on Sox! Win one for Wakefield!

I really want him to catch Clemens and Cy Young for the team wins record.

My team's in bit of a quagmire right now.  :)

Man, when our bats go cold, we take it to another level. Anyway, it's super seeing Yo back in form today, and here's hoping for a series' win tomorrow before Zack's home debut on Monday. We're gonna right this baby!

And I'm unsure if anyone has seen this yet...

...ohmygawd.

Bob

With pujols hitting .250, half their starting infield out, their number one pitcher out for the season, their number two winless and their closer getting demoted..... How are the Cardinals in first?

And what's with all the near no hitters this week?

Franklin's tried his best to prevent that!

I'm guessing it's only a matter of time before Pujols & Berkman exchange OPS, and Lohse cannot pitch like this for the entire season. However, it's still a small sample, but I was wrong about Garcia. I didn't buy into his rookie campaign, but he really looks to be solid.

*ahem*  So I just bought a subscription to MLBTV for the year.  I really wish English sports had something similar, but Baseball is about as close to Cricket as I can find on the 'net.  Besides, the service looks really neat.

When it works it is really neat.   Did you get the premium package or regular?  The premium lets you pick the video and audio streams separately, watching the Phillies I pick the home TV stream and the Phillies radio guys for the audio.  But it can get frustrating due to the blackout restrictions and having to wait for the game to go into the archive to watch it.  Biggest frustration for me so far is at least once during every game the player has a glitch and restarts the game at the beginning.  Kind of annoying they don't edit out the commercial breaks but if you are quick right after the 3rd out you can jump to the next inning, once the commercials start the player doesn't let you jump.

mrbasehart

I'm the UK, and according to their terms and conditions non-US citizens don't get affected by blackout restrictions.  :)

The non-editing out commercials thing is weird - I just watched the last 2 games of the Reds/Cubs series and it seems like it wouldn't be any different in workload to snip out those time breaks between innings other than putting a "COMMERCIAL BREAK HERE" for 2 minutes.  But yeah, if you're quick enough, you can skip the 2 minutes it takes and get right back to the game.

Oh, I went with regular.

Bob

So, Milton Bradley got released today.   Wonder what sucker team will pick him up?

Welcome aboard, basehart!

Do you have any predilections toward any clubs/players?

On an unrelated note, despite how atrocious our bats have been the past eight games leading into last night's game, we're still sporting an OPS of .710. In contrast, the Friars and Twins are sporting .619/.612 respectively. I wasn't aware their offenses were that bad overall. Wow.

And Zack, he's filthy.  Go Crew!
