The worst are those power themes that aren't good power themes... like um...

Kenny Loggins,

Or the crappy song from Rocky IV: "hearts on fire....strong desire..."

kodiakthejuggler

That in order to be a true bad guy, you gotta be really tan.

I also learned that apparently Loggia's hired kidnappers don't make a lot of money...what a crappy truck...

Pak-Man

I learned that the legions of people who operate deadly, high-powered massive vehicles every day, often do so while giving their right arm a vigerous workout. :^)

Shouldn't Hawk's right arm have been enormous by comparison...kinda like the guy in "Lady in the Water"?

And what about the left-handed people...looks like they don't get their sons back huh?

Nah, he lifts all that back child support he didn't give to his son with the other arm.

Lefties just drive European trucks. :^)

Hmm..so in theory, Europe could have some sort of bizarre left-handed truckers division arm-wrestling thing...

I learned that Robert Loggia has replaced his skin with a burnished mahogany finish.

And that the producers of "Over the Top" clearly have no sense of irony whatsoever.

I learned that trucks can be driven several miles  at 50mph in second gear. Funny I thought rigs had like 10 gears....

anyway I also learned my cat is stupid. After being alive four years, she failed to learn that fire is bad. During the infamous drinking valvoline scene, she walked over a candle on the coffee table and stood there for about 3 seconds before realizing she was on fire. Mind you she's a long hair, she's absolutely fine, but she smelled like a typical 80's hair salon(perms) that added to the spirit of the movie. So anyway, I missed that scene, due to my flaming kitty. It was horrible, picture napalm, but the movie and rifftrax were great.

again the cat is fine but she smells like a perm.

Rose: I'm sorry?
The Ood: Apologies. I said: I hope you enjoy your meal.

I learned that baggage handlers are borderline retarded, and will throw anything that is handed to them onto the conveyor belt, including children, allowing them to pop out of the baggage claim in comedic fashion.
