October 12: The Smokey and the Bandit Outlaw collection

Doesn't someone have to be looking for something for it to be considered "missing"?

Bandit Bandit (1994)
::)

So...does he steal other bandits, or...

According to IMDB the full name of the movie is Bandit: Bandit Bandit.

So it's like a movie about a club that features outlaws dancing on poles?

It is made by the same guy who decided Mario's last name?

I've no idea what that means.
In the Super Mario Brothers movie, we learn that Mario's last name is Mario. So he's Mario Mario, and Luigi is Luigi Mario.

Ah, didn't see it, Hoskins irks me.

And in other news:

Over here for $29.99

Yeah, it's one of their archive "Made to order" discs, but it's still available now.

Plastic Self-Cleaning Duck

These "Made to order" prices haven't come down yet (another reason I don't like them).

But some are showing up used on eBay and Amazon Marketplace.

Rumor alert (or translated for our friends from across the pond: "Rumour Alert")!

Is Warner Brothers considering releasing the "Censored Eleven" shorts at Warner Archive in 2011?  Possibly.  I had never heard of these, but apparently there are 11 animated shorts that were banned in 1968.  While I agree that the studio has to be responsible about handling these shorts, they also can't cover them up as though they didn't happen.  Having said that, they're still available on YouTube.

Source (where I pretty much reiterated everything above).

I've seen a few of these.  The art work is pretty bad, stereotype-wise.  Some of the "jokes" I wonder if modern audiences would even get them.

Just check out the YouTube comments for your answer.  On second thought, don't.

Hell, most of the comments on YouTube are just people trying to be asshats for the sake of it.

There's probably some schmucks commenting on the video of the Tennessee fire where the firemen stood by and watched while the family pets inside died a horrible death - asking when dinner is served.   >:(

After watching "Sunday Go To Meetin' Place", I decided to try my hand at editing out all the racist bits.  Whaddaya think?
