not in a good way, either.

Is there any way that people with August 19th tickets could use them for the encore performance (provided the theater is dried out enough to be open and there are seats available)?  The section of town where the theater is located is currently underwater (like water 3/4 as high as the top of the Walmart store high) and we are supposed to get more rain tonight and this weekend.  If we get it, I don't know if the encore performance would even be possible, but I thought I'd ask anyway.

I assume it would be up to the theater you bought the tickets from. I doubt RiffTrax would have any sway one way or the other. Also if the water is that high do you think they would be open that soon? I can only imagine what the seats would smell like after being submerged. Also all the carpeting would be pretty nasty too.

Ugh....I just heard "You shouldn't plan too much. It might not come out right" in Johnny's strangled semi-falsetto my head!

I'd say keep an eye on them but I doubt they can get the place open in five days if it's still underwater as we write this.  Probably take longer just to get inspectors out to clear them to turn on the power again

Think your only recourse is to find another theater to go to and put in for a refund from these guys.  That's what they have insurance for.

Yeah, once the rain stops, I would call the theater and see how they're handling it.  If they don't answer (say, because the place is still underwater) call a nearby theater in the chain and get the number for the regional manager and contact that person. Otherwise, if you used a credit card to buy the tickets contact them. They should be able to refund the charges given the circumstances.

BTW, hope you've already sent in your picture/entry for the iPad drawing.....

Because taking the picture now in front of the flooded theater would give you an unfair "sympathy" advantage.   ;) ;) ;) ;)

I reflexively use Tommy Wiseau's voice every time I have to address someone named Mark.

As long as it doesn't make you ask about their sex life.
