Rifftrax Live in the UK?

Probably a long shot, but if there's another event like this, is there any chance it could be shown at theaters in the UK as well? There must be at least a few cinemas around the country that would be interested in taking it (I could think of one in London, just off the top of my head). It'd just be nice if we Brits could feel included! :)

I think the most obvious place for a Rifftrax Live screening over here would be at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, but that's waay too far for me to go.  London would be okay though.  :)

I practically set my holiday from Manchester to Florida around the Rifftrax live, if that isn't proof of interest from us Brits I dont know what is.

I think that if Fathom Events managed to get some kind of deal going with theaters in the UK, this could happen.

I'd think it would be possible, but doing it "Live" might be a bit awkward...

"Rifftrax Live!  8 Eastern, 5 Pacific, 1 AM Greenwich."   ;)

I would assume a delayed showing, like they do for the Pacific time zone, would probably be in order.
One Man Band Riffs.  18 riffs, over 600 served, since 2009.

Well cant we just get the live show an hour or two before the US?

I cant see any problems with that.

Way too far?  Isn't your entire country smaller than most of our states?

I suggest broadcasting Rifftrax Live to the Middle East. Might help world peace. Or it could enrage them further. Who knows.

Travel is relative. Yes the British Isles aren't all that big in relation to the United States but Edinburgh is pretty damn far from Bristol in any form of transport except perhaps flying and that might be fairly cost prohibitive (as indeed are other forms of transport).

They'd probably have better luck broadcasting Fraggle Rock in the Middle East if world peace is the goal. Just change the Doc and Sprocket segments so there's a Middle Eastern guy there and dub everybody else. Hey, it worked in the 80's.

They've been making screenings of Rifftrax at the Sci-fi London event for a few years now. If it was appropriately themed there's always an audience there.
