I get a little annoyed when they get to the 7th or 8th fart/poop joke, but only because I know they're better than that.

You may not want to watch Attack of the Clones/Revenge of the Sith.  Yoda gets a lot of poop jokes for some reason.

Already did. The first few I don't mind...like I said, it's when I get to the 7th or 8th that I'm like  ::)

Well, I noticed in the Goblet of Fire preview that they put in a Shia LeBeouf joke that had no goddamn reason for being there. I'm perfectly fine with "Go, go, go, go, go!" or "Move, move, move, move, move!" jokes, but to bring in Shia LeBeouf just for the sake of bringing in Shia LeBeouf is just sad.

Is there a "favorite running jokes" thread?  I can't seem to find one and I don't want to start a new one if one exists.

I don't think so...most people in this thread usually say a running joke that they like in here, anyways.
I like artificial grape flavor, but I hate real grapes.  A paradox!?

You can create on. If it doesn't get used then it'll just work it's way off the front page. Then a year later it'll be resurrected for some barely applicable List of Crap poll.

Or I'll start posting in it long after everyone's forgotten about it, like I did with the "Ask Mike" topic.

I prefer not to hear disembodeo.  ever.
It's better to be a smartass than a dumbass.

I don't mind when he's there to help sync the audio...it makes sense having a bizarre voice, because if it wasn't, it would be harder to notice.  But I can't stand extended sequences with him, though the ones in "The Room" were pretty well inspired.  Disembaudio doesn't really show up that much anymore, though.

My favorite one ever was during 300 when he walked in during a sex scene and screamed like a girl and tossed his tray of snickerdoodles up in the air.  Or something like that.  LMFAO

Yeah, his bit in 300 was hilarious.
'For shame!  For shame!'
I do sometimes like when he sings the end credits.

I will say that anytime bombastic music with a large choir comes in - most notably in the "final battle" sequences - it's automatically a Carl Orff knockoff to Mike. I mean, yeah, there's an influence, but still - did Jerry Goldsmith steal your future child's soul in order to write "Ave Satani," Mike? C'mon, man.

At least change it up every once in a while by calling it a knockoff of Holst instead. :P

Perhaps we can agree to disagree here. I think the "Disembaudio and friends" was a lame attempt to get Mike in the mix in a puritanical fashion.

I would much rather have heard riffing on Tommy's ass dimples than Team Disembaudio's blather.

What's wrong with straight-up riffing a sex scene?
