I love the casting of Josh Brolin, which makes it a shame that this thing has AWFUL written all over it. Even the Hex makeup looks terrible.

Did you hear about Josh Brolin complaining during filming about how crap the movie was turning out?  I think someone at the studio yelled at him because now he's all this is movie won't suck and he was totally just kidding.

At least there's the True Grit remake this year to look forward to.
I'm all out for kicks...and every inch of me spells EXCITEMENT!

Megan Fox stars as The Whore.  Seems like a stretch...  ::)

I'll definitely watch this. Just not in theaters.

So there's apparently gonna be a Jonah Hex short as a bonus on the Batman: Under The Red Hood DC Universe DVD movie. Considering the great Spectre short that was on the Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths short, I'll go as far to say this short will probably be better than the live-action movie: http://www.toonzone.net/news/articles/33638/jonah-hex-images-unveiled

Thomas Jane? Meh. I'll miss Adam Baldwin doing the voice.

Relaxing Dragon

Wasn't Jane originally supposed to play Hex in the movie? Or am I more confused than usual?

I saw this last week.  I have to say, this is the best movie that Megan Fox has ever been in.

The movie had all the problems that one would expect.  Megan Fox and John Malkovich both made a fantastic run at worst actor, there were plenty of unnecessary explosions, and the plot was horrible (something about Eli Whitney being good at mechanics, and therefore also good at glowing orb doomsday machines).  But it wasn't as painful to watch as something like Transformers.  It certainly required you to take a stupid pill, but it didn't also require you to bash your head against the wall.

They should put that quote on the back of the DVD.
